Construction Company in the Czech Republic: Growth in Visibility and Redistribution of Top Rankings

Introduction

Our client, Stav Development, is a construction and development company that offers construction and reconstruction services throughout the Czech Republic. Their core focus is residential renovation, including apartments and houses, as well as turnkey construction projects. The website was promoted in a highly competitive local market, requiring a systematic approach to SEO and backlink profile development to improve search rankings and drive targeted traffic.

Objectives

  • Conduct a comprehensive website audit and eliminate technical limitations hindering growth.
  • Rebuild the website structure and refine the semantic core for priority directions.
  • Develop content, improve on-page optimization, and strengthen the backlink profile.
    Also, improve rankings for key commercial queries and increase the flow of leads.

Our Actions

The project began with a comprehensive SEO audit, during which our team identified technical issues affecting indexing and rankings. Based on the findings, we prepared a detailed technical specification covering improvements to page structure, correction of core SEO parameters, and enhancements to overall user logic.

Following the audit, we worked on the website’s structure, establishing priority promotion directions and focusing on key pages such as “rekonstrukce”, “rekonstrukce bytu”, and “rekonstrukce domu”. For each direction, our team collected and clustered a semantic core, then updated the page structure in alignment with search volume data and keyword competition analysis.

We paid special attention to content: our team prepared texts for key pages based on search demand, optimized meta tags, and improved overall page relevance. We also reworked the internal linking structure, enabling more efficient distribution of link equity across the site.

In addition, we worked on the blog – improving page templates, developing a content plan, and laying the foundation for further growth of informational traffic.

On the link-building side, our team analyzed competitor backlink profiles and developed a placement strategy tailored to the specifics of the local market. 

Over the course of the project, the following placements were executed:

  • Crowd marketing: 70 links. Built a foundational backlink layer and attracted additional traffic.
  • Submissions: 199 placements. Ensured profile diversification and accelerated page indexing.
  • Articles: 8 publications. Increased domain trust through placements on relevant platforms.
  • Regional directories: 50 placements. Provided local signals for search engines.
  • PBN: 98 links. Supported rankings for competitive queries.

Throughout the entire project, our team continuously monitored performance: tracking keyword rankings, adjusting the strategy, and adapting the work plan based on current results.

Results

According to Ahrefs data, from February to September 2025, organic traffic increased from 53 to 937, representing a growth of 1,668%. The total number of keywords grew from 89 to 234, accompanied by a qualitative redistribution of rankings. The number of queries in the Top 3 increased from 0 to 41, in the Top 10 from 12 to 29, and in the Top 20 from 23 to 39. This indicates a strengthening of commercially important pages and an improvement in their search visibility.

According to Google Search Console, the number of clicks increased from 653 to 1,425 (+118%), while impressions grew from 10,021 to 52,710 (+426%). The average position improved from 17.8 to 10.3, allowing the site to secure positions on the first page of search results for key queries. 

The growth dynamics were gradual: after eliminating technical limitations and updating the structure, rankings began to improve, followed by growth in impressions and clicks. At the start, the site had limited visibility in search results. After implementing the strategy, there was an increase in coverage and stable positioning in the Top 10 for priority queries.

A comprehensive approach to SEO and link building can deliver strong results even in a competitive local niche like construction services. Through systematic work on the website and backlink profile, our team achieved stable growth across key metrics and secured consistent rankings in search results for all priority directions.
