The client owns an online store that helps customers find products in the United States and purchase them directly from private sellers. The primary audience consists of American market users seeking rare and unique items.
The project faced a common problem: only one category was visible for search engines, while the remaining pages did not rank and received almost no traffic. The client wanted to expand the coverage of key queries and increase the flow of users.
The work was carried out in two stages. In June, we launched link building to accelerate indexation and support weak categories. In July, SEO was added: audit, fixes, optimization of meta tags and structural elements. This sequence enabled the combination of external and internal work, allowing for faster results.
We first strengthened the project with external backlinks. This helped speed up the indexation of pages that had long remained “invisible” to the search engine. The following were placed:
All donors were pre-checked for trust, traffic and relevance. The main goal was to create a natural backlink profile suitable for the United States market, where quality requirements are higher than in other regions.
After external support, we added SEO to align the technical foundation and improve the website’s relevance. The following work was done:
We regularly monitored performance through Ahrefs and Google Search Console, as well as tracking indexation, the appearance of new keywords and the speed of the search engine’s reaction to changes. The client received reports and comments on each completed task.
By the end of the second month, the website showcased stable growth.
According to Google Search Console, the number of clicks increased from 117 in June to 1,285 in August.
This indicates almost a tenfold increase in interactions with the website.
According to Ahrefs, organic traffic increased from 208 to 345, and the number of keyword phrases grew from 119 to 5,017.
This means the website began to rank dozens of times more frequently: an increase of approximately 41 times.
The growth in visibility became possible because weak pages finally began to be indexed and included in search results. After updating meta tags and the structure of internal linking blocks, Google began recognizing them as more relevant to user queries.
A comprehensive approach consisting of two stages: the first one is backlinking, and the second one is SEO, which helped the project quickly move out of a state of low visibility. The website began capturing search demand across numerous product-related queries, and the client received a solid foundation for further catalog scaling.
