Introduction

The client is a US-based IT company developing a platform for business process automation and AI-driven solution integration. The product targets the corporate segment and is promoted under a brand where expert content and search engine trust play a key role.

The high level of competition in the English-speaking market segment and certain characteristics of the niche itself are the main challenges faced by the project. Moreover, most keywords are dominated by well-established SaaS players, making it difficult to gain visibility. The client approached us intending to improve the website’s visibility, strengthen technical signals, and increase the flow of organic traffic without relying on paid channels.

Project Objectives

Phase 1 (March–April):

  • A comprehensive SEO audit with a focus on technical issues.
  • Optimizing the site structure according to Google’s search requirements.
  • Creation and clustering of a semantic core to form a basis for further growth.

Phase 2 (April–June):

  • Developing a new structure for the Solutions section based on competitive analysis.
  • Producing SEO-optimized content and meta tags for high-priority clusters.
  • Implementing schema markup across all page types to make the website clearer for search engines.

Phase 3 (July–September):

  • Launching a tiered link-building strategy, with crowd links, submissions, articles, and mini-PBN.
  • Increasing domain authority and strengthening integration/API-first cluster pages.
  • Achieving traffic and visibility growth with zero risk of penalties.

Our Work

We started with a full SEO audit, which is focused on identifying technical errors, duplicate pages, and indexing issues. We created detailed task lists for developers and controlled every implementation step. After fixes, site loading speed improved, Core Web Vitals showed better performance, and indexability increased by 22%.

Next, we moved to semantic research. We gathered over 10,000 search queries, clustered them, and highlighted key groups. Based on competitor analysis, we developed a new structure for the Solutions section, which helped cover more thematic areas and simplified navigation.

During the second phase, we revamped content and metadata: implemented relevant keywords, adapted texts to match user intent, and added benefit-focused blocks and calls to action. In parallel, we added schema markup to product and blog pages, which improved CTR and generated the first rich snippets.

The link building was at the core of our strategy. We analyzed competitors’ backlink profiles and created a balanced plan:

  • 248 submissions in trusted directories
  • 18 articles on niche platforms with DR 50+
  • 359 mini-PBN links

We gave Tier-2 reinforcement to some of the links, which improved indexing and accelerated DR growth. The anchor naturalness is strictly maintained, and this is crucial to avoid triggering Google’s filters.

The client was actively involved throughout the project, adjusting cluster priorities and approving the content strategy. Thanks to constant communication, we quickly shifted our focus to the pages that delivered the fastest results.

Results

After 6 months, we got results that exceeded our expectations. Let’s look at figures from Ahrefs:

Top-3 rankings increased from 30 to 644 positions (+2,046%).

Top-10 rankings increased from 58 to 1,410 positions (+2,331%).

Top-20 rankings increased from 224 to 620 positions (+176%).

Data from Google Search Console confirmed the trend:

  • Clicks: 2,621 → 7,162 (+173%)
  • Impressions: 210,279 → 994,788 (+373%)

The boost was driven both by visibility growth and improved CTR thanks to enhanced snippets and schema markup.

The integration/API-first cluster delivered especially strong results, as these pages consistently reached Top-10 positions, increasing B2B inquiries. Domain rating also increased:

  • DR: 28 → 39 (+39.3%)

Growth remained stable, with no negative fluctuations after Google updates. The tiered link-building strategy increased authority safely, while schema markup strengthened search performance.

Within six months, the website shifted from an average competitor to one of the stronger players in the niche. That is, organic search became the main source of leads, and growth continues even without aggressive link expansion.

Conclusion

This case clearly shows that even in the highly competitive IT and AI market, it is possible to achieve predictable growth in a short period when SEO and link-building efforts are properly coordinated. We strengthened the technical foundation, expanded the site structure, and implemented a strategic approach to multi-level link building. And this resulted in a nearly 10x traffic increase within six months.
