The project operates within the crypto casino niche and targets an international audience, with the primary markets being the United States and the United Kingdom. The website features multiple language versions, and our work primarily focused on the EN, JA, and DE locales.
The client needed to strengthen their organic acquisition channel through ongoing link building. Because the crypto casino niche is highly competitive and search results fluctuate rapidly, the project required a consistent strategy from our team, with careful control over placement types and continuous monitoring of search engine responses.

We began by analyzing the project’s link-building potential and the specific challenges of the niche, where link prospecting requires a particularly rigorous approach. Not every website is willing to publish content related to crypto casinos, and many available linking domains do not provide the necessary level of quality. Therefore, our strategy focused not only on the sheer volume of backlinks but also on their specific role within the overall backlink profile.
During the cooperation period, we delivered the following:
— 96 guest post placements;
— 359 crowd marketing placements;
— 855 mini PBN placements.
This approach allowed us to address several objectives simultaneously. Guest posts provided stronger authority signals, crowd marketing helped diversify the backlink profile, and mini PBN placements maintained link-building momentum while strengthening priority areas. Relying on a narrow range of backlink sources can quickly limit growth potential or create an unnatural-looking profile.
We gave special attention to backlink distribution. Because the project was multilingual, link-building activities had to be carefully planned to support specific language versions and promotional goals rather than strengthening the website in a random, unstructured way.
Throughout the campaign, PhoenixProject monitored overall traffic growth as well as the distribution of keywords within the Top 1 and Top 10 rankings. For a project like this, visibility growth alone does not always provide the full picture. It is crucial to understand how many keywords move into the upper positions of search results, where they can generate consistent organic traffic.
The evaluation period spanned from June 2025 to March 2026. During this time, organic traffic increased from 11,979 to 29,287 visits, representing a 144% growth.
Keyword visibility increased from 371 to 476 ranking keywords. But the most significant improvement was observed in ranking distribution. The number of keywords ranking in the Top 1 positions increased from 90 to 182, while the number of keywords in the Top 10 grew from 168 to 245.
The data shows that the project began ranking for a larger volume of keywords and significantly strengthened its presence in the most valuable areas of search results, where top rankings can generate substantial organic traffic.
In this case, link building helped the betting project strengthen its positions in the US and UK markets, increase organic traffic by 144%, and nearly double the number of keywords ranking in the Top 1 positions. Over the course of nine months, the project achieved a much stronger search presence and built a solid foundation for continued growth within a highly competitive betting niche.
